Gordon J Acker was born in Michigan and raised in Florida. After a stint in the Air Force as an Information Officer, he had a successful career in television broadcasting working at television stations throughout the country. He has produced television programs which won many awards including a Golden Globe and several Emmy Awards. He is currently retired living in Florida with his wife, Carole. He has three daughters and six grand children. He now writes novels. The most current is "The Day The Republic Died".
