August PHlocking NEWS!!!
Friday, August 15th-Nautical Spirits
Join us at our PHlocking at Nautical Spirits.  Our "Lucky Stars" recipients will be the kids of COUNTRY ACRES Children's Home.  We're collecting GIFT CARDS of any sort;  store gift cards (like Walmart, Sears, Kmart, bookstore, Toys R Us, etc.), food gift cards (fast food, grocery stores), gas cards, entertainment cards (movies, bowling, minature golf, etc.)  We'll be trying out our new sound system.  We think Pat Clawson will be plugging in, BUT, just in case...this is a great time to bring your PHavorite CDs to share with the PHlock.  Tropical Motivation tickets will be on sale AS SOON AS BETSY arrives.  Items for the 'parrotPHanalia' table will be available for drawings.  PHifty/50 chances will benefit our club charity choice.

Congratulations to the PHlock!!!
Our PHirst public event, "Growin' Older, But Not Up!" Tailgate Party at the August 2nd Brevard County Manatees baseball game was, not only, a whole lot of PHun, but we raised over $400 for the Children's Miracle Network. We, also, sponsored 12 kids and 2 adults from Country Acres Children's Home for PHood and PHun at the tailgate party and game tickets.  Special thanks to Dan Covey of the Brevard County Manatees, Ron Chabot of Carroll Distributing, and of course, "DOC" and Jill Towers for their wonderful music. Having Chris Glover perform inside the stadium was a special treat! We've been invited back for next year's season. Welcome to our six new members who joined during the Tailgate Party.   Thanks to all of those who gave their time to make this event possible.  We can be proud!!!
